The most recent meeting took place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 6pm at Midtown Fellowship's Granny White location (3410 Granny White Pike, Nashville, TN 37204). Metro Planning presented on topics related to the Conservation Overlay. We will provide updates via email, social media, and here when the next meeting is scheduled.
As of 2025, Battlemont is exploring a Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay (CO) as a way to preserve neighborhood character. Over time, we will add details here including FAQs, key presentations and handouts, upcoming meetings, and more. If you have questions or feedback about the CO process, please email Battlemont Neighborhood Association's Conservation Overlay Committee via NCZOBattlemont@gmail.com.
Please review the slides presented at our March 5, 2026 meeting to help neighbors learn about the Conservation Overlay and develop an informed opinion. We appreciate if you also share this information with neighbors in Battlemont (East of Granny White) to ensure that everyone is informed.
BATTLEMONT HOMEOWNERS*: Share your position by responding to the survey, including responses for neutral or still deciding. We’ll track support / opposition by Battlemont Address / Homeowner Name. Responses determine:
- How we need to adjust our communication or meeting schedule
- If majority supports a Neighborhood Conserving Zoning Overlay (NCZO), we’ll continue forward
- If we move forward, knowing support / opposition will inform the final contiguous boundaries within Battlemont.
You are able to change your input later by taking the survey again.
*If you are a renter, please ensure your landlord is aware of this information so that they can respond. Tenants should not complete the survey.
Battlemont Neighborhood Association (BNA) held informational meetings on Monday, August 18, 2025; Monday, September 22, 2025; Monday, December 8, 2025; and Thursday, March 5, 2026.
